Kristin, Owner

When asked what she loves about owning the salon, Kristin said, “I typically don't work with customers finding their gowns for them on a day to day basis anymore but I still love what I do.  I love the variety of situations that working with our customers has given me, although I have worked in bridal for almost 20 years I have never been bored in my job.  Given any situation, I love trying to find a solution that will work for both our customer and the salon.  I have great memories of my own bridal gown shopping experience; the ladies were fantastic, friendly and always patient as I tried to make up my mind.  I try to always remember that and give our own customers the same experience.”   Kristin loves to spend time with her husband and four children, especially watching their sports.  She also loves playing tennis, reading, cheering on MSU, spending time near the water and almost anything competitive.

Jamie, Sales and Alteration Manager:

Jamie's favorite thing about working with brides is helping them make their wedding day dreams come true, all the while knowing what happiness is in store for them. When asked what the best part of her wedding day was, she said, "My husband's face as the church doors opened and he saw me for the first time that day!" Outside of work Jamie likes spending time with family and friends, reading, volunteering at her church, and skiing. Her favorite band is currently Coldplay.

Ebony, Bridal Consultant and Receptionist: 

Ebony's favorite part of working at Bridal Elegance is meeting people and hearing their love story. When she went through the wedding process herself, she loved seeing all her thoughts come together about her perfect dress and knowing that at the end of the journey it was going to be her and her husband as one. Outside of work Ebony likes to work out, hang out with family and go shopping. She also likes listening to Beyonce.

Elyse, Receptionist

Elyse's favorite thing about working with brides is getting to meet lots of different and exciting people and hearing their stories. She hasn't been wedding dress shopping for herself yet, but looks forward to it when the time comes! Elyse's favorite things to do outside of work are spending time with friends, taking exercise classes, and volunteering. Her favorite band right now is Band of Horses.

Nickie, Bridal Consultant

Nickie has gone through the wedding dress experience fifteen years ago here at Bridal Elegance, and now is one of the salon’s Bridal Consultants. She loves working with brides and with all the emotion that follows when the bride decides on the perfect dress… especially if her Mom and sisters are there and they all start crying. She said, “It makes me think of the day when I get to experience that with my 2 daughters.” Her favorite thing to do outside of work is spending time with her four children, reading, walking outside with her dog, listening to Adele, and going antiquing.  She also dreams about owning her own charming little home store filled with the old and new.

Ana, Bridal Consultant and Shipping/Receiving 

Ana's favorite thing about working with brides is the moment when the bride realizes that what is happening and what she is feeling is actually real. Ana has not been through the wedding experience yet herself, but she is waiting patiently. Ana loves speniding time with animals, especially her horse, Ruby. Her favorite music is anything country.

Carol, Seamstress and Bridal Consultant

What Carol likes about working at Bridal Elegance is each bride has her own unique personality, and she likes meeting new people! When Carol was planning for her own wedding she designed and constructed her own gown, and has been altering gowns for others at Bridal Elegance for over ten years. She is now blessed by her 14 grandchildren and loves to spend time with them.
